Day 1: contract and kickoff

Signed contract with the silence means approval clause and the same day password rule. A 45 minute kickoff covering goals, the one named decision maker, tone, and what success looks like in 90 days. Agree the weekly rhythm: when content arrives for approval and when it goes live.

Days 2 and 3: access, done properly

No shared passwords, ever. Facebook and LinkedIn: an admin role on each Page. Instagram and TikTok: professional accounts connected through their official flows. YouTube: channel access through the client's Google settings. Confirm the Instagram account is professional and linked to its Facebook Page, because that link is load bearing for publishing. Connect everything to your scheduler and send one test post per platform. In SocialPro, each client gets their own workspace with independently connected accounts, so access stays clean per client and switching brands is one click.

Days 4 and 5: strategy and the first batch

Three to five content pillars agreed in writing. Asset handover: logo files, photos, brand colours, any existing content worth reusing. Produce the first two weeks of content in one batch while the kickoff conversation is fresh.

Days 6 and 7: the first approval round

Send the first approval link and walk the client through it live: open on your phone, tap approve, done. The first approval sets the habit for every week after. Name the deadline, restate the silence rule kindly, and schedule the approved posts.

The three rules that prevent everything

Password changes reported the same day, because every password change silently breaks account connections. One decision maker, because committees do not approve content, they marinate it. And silence means approval after the deadline, agreed now while everyone is happy, so it never has to be invoked in a tense week. Onboarding is where reliability is actually built; the software just keeps the promise.
